Vehicle coverage
Focused on C7 and C8 A6 models. C8 vehicles may add 48-volt systems and newer driver-assistance or chassis functions; earlier generations follow different procedures.

Audi A Series expertise
A6 platforms combine several four- and six-cylinder engines with different transmissions, quattro systems and increasingly complex electrical networks. The model year and VIN set the correct baseline.
Include the VIN, year, mileage, warning text and when the issue occurs. The appropriate inspection is confirmed for the exact vehicle.
Model-specific service
Focused on C7 and C8 A6 models. C8 vehicles may add 48-volt systems and newer driver-assistance or chassis functions; earlier generations follow different procedures.
A6 powertrains can include EA888 four-cylinder and EA839 or earlier V6 applications. Cooling, PCV, boost and oil-leak diagnosis must follow the installed engine rather than the badge alone.
S tronic and tiptronic applications vary by engine and drivetrain. Shift quality, clutch behaviour, mounts, software and quattro components should be separated during diagnosis.
Standard, sport, adaptive and air-suspension configurations exist. A ride-height warning is relevant only to equipped vehicles; conventional knocks need mechanical inspection.
