Porsche PCCB Explained
Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake uses ceramic-composite discs with compatible pads and model-specific hardware. PCCB condition and replacement decisions should not be based on the same visual assumptions or simple thickness checks used for iron discs.
What the system does

- Changes inspection, handling and parts decisions compared with steel brakes.
Models and applications
- Optional or standard on selected Turbo, GT and high-performance models.
- Available across several 911, Cayenne, Panamera and 718 applications.
- Rotor size and generation vary; yellow calipers alone are not the full parts specification.
Normal characteristics
- Some brake noise can depend on temperature, contamination and use.
- Visual surface appearance differs from an iron rotor.
- Low road use does not remove the need for inspection.
